Im having the same issues as the OP.  model 

15-db0069wm

PLEASE SUPPORT  the early 2500u machines. Mine throttles the gpu to 240mhz when gaming, not even close to 1100mhz as advertised. im on bios f11. and 24.20.12050.0 Rev.A for display.

Hi @Ebb3ka94. There will be driver updates from AMD in February, this may fix performance issues. I am not sure if HP will push new updates or BIOS fixes. You can alternatively try to modify your DSDT to increase power to your laptop, this will raise performance, however this may vary with laptops.
