There has been a flickering on the screen since the first unboxing of the computer and the installation of Windows. Clean reinstallation, installing drivers one by one etc. I tried many methods. I thought it was a problem caused by the graphics card, but when I tried disabling the devices one by one from the Device Manager, I realized that this screen flickering problem was caused by the Card Reader. I tried different PCIE drivers but could not solve the problem. I wonder if this is a driver issue or a hardware issue?

Did you try the Realtek Card Reader driver 10.0.22621.21366 Rev.C from July 28, 2023?

Thank you for your reply. Yes I had tried latest driver (10.0.22621.21366) both from hp.com and intel driver support. Current Windows version is 23H2 on my laptop. Hp.com offers only for 22H2. I am not sure if this is the problem.

How did you determine the Realtek Card reader was the culprit causing the flickering?
Was there an error message produced that pointed to Realtek Card reader?
Why did you do a clean install of Windows and which method did you use?
HP Cloud Recovery?

No. I have even tested by HP Hardware Diagnostics in Safe Mod. Everything seems ok.
Why did you do a clean install of Windows and which method did you use?
I did using the pre installed official windows menu on seller's recommendation. They suggested that I try the drivers one by one instead of the ones automatically installed by Windows Update. For this, I had to use the method of installing windows without internet. When the problem persisted, I tried the same procedure by downloading a clean windows installation media from microsoft.com. Then I installed the drivers one by one from my HP account.
I humbly believe that the problem is hardware or driver related.
