Hello, we've gotten an update for Realtek bluetooth each of the last 8 days.  Is this bonafide or could it be the same update is being sent in error?  Thanks.

@KFord, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It's unusual to receive the same Realtek Bluetooth update repeatedly over several days. This can happen if there is an issue with Windows Update settings or the update might not be installing correctly, leading to repeated attempts. Here are a few steps you can take to address this:

Check Windows Update History: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View Update History to see if the update shows as installed successfully multiple times or if it failed.

Remove and Reinstall the Driver:

  • Open Device Manager and locate Bluetooth under the list of installed devices.
  • Right-click on the Realtek Bluetooth driver and select 'Uninstall device.'
  • Restart your computer to reinstall the driver automatically or visit the HP Support site to manually download the latest version.

Visit HP Support: You can go to the HP Support Website to check for the latest drivers specific to your model by entering your product number and ensuring that the appropriate, updated driver is installed.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
