HP G60-549DX Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a G60-549DX which is so slow that it has become useless. I have built & rebuilt hundreds of desktops, but no laptop. Are there components (MB, CPU, Memory) that are easily installed in this case?

HP no longer supports the G60-549DX laptop.  Finding parts for it will be a big challenge.

For it to be useful again you could install Linux.

I did manage to find a manual for the laptop at a third party website.

Thank you for responding. I don't want to use this computer as is with any OS. I was asking if there are newer parts, starting with the mainboard, that can be installed in this laptop that are mechanically identical. Thanks again.

The answer to that question is  no.
