My HDD is broken

 

My Laptop Model is- HP pavilion 17-G192dx

 

I was wondering whether I can upgrade to this SSD given below?

Hi:

 

You should be able to, or you can use the Crucial memory/SSD report and select a compatible SSD from them.

The MX500 models have faster read/write speeds than the BX500 models do.
