If its this one:

The answer is its not a good platform for serious video editing. You need a dedicated video card and you are also going to want a solid state drive. If you are doing video editing professionally consider a Zbook mobile workstation. It will pay for itself in saved time.

Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Hi Huffer

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it is the laptop that I have. Actually I have upgraded to SSD. The only thing that I am worried about is GPU. So, it is not a good idea to use this laptop for video editing?

It will work on some level as you do have a pretty strong processor. I would say casual video editing will be OK but if you are doing it every day all day you will soon notice how slowly it is rendering the videos.

Ok. I actually do video editing on a daily basis. I don't use any high end effects but sometimes I do a lot of rendering though. Lately, my laptop has not been performing  very well. Getting some issues with gpu overheating problems and crashing with following patterns. IMG_6132 (1).JPG

That is a motherboard defect. Have you run UEFI diagnostics on the video card. Tap esc as you power up then diagnostics and run the long test. Or you can run it from within Windows:
