My laptop is HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cw0xxx series laptop with a 128gb ssd only but now i want to upgrade with an additional hdd in the empty hdd bay but there is no hdd ribbon connector cable to connect it to the motheboard. Are all the ribbon connector cable tha same or is there any difference ? How to add the hdd now . Please help!!

Hi,
The two parts you need are
Hard drive brackets part number L19469-001 (you could use some double-sided foamy strong tape to keep in place)
Hard drive cable part number ebayL23889-001
It can be hard to find as they are rather new.
On page 45 of the service manual, you can see the steps to install the drive

However, you could just upgrade the M2 SSD to a much higher capacity (no limit) M2 PCIe NVMe SSD
Example:

and then reinstall the OS on it.
