You're very welcome.
All of the notebooks with the Ryzen 7 processors would support 64 GB of memory.
The major differences in the model numbers are the country they are sold in, and some other minor feature differences (display resolution, how much memory they come with, model of the wifi card, size of the hard drive...)

Hi:
Here is the link to the Crucial memory report for a very similar model to yours...
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-omen-15-en0023dx
Here are the specs on that model...
https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/c06657657
Crucial says it can support up to 2 x 32 GB of memory for a total of 64 GB.
That is why you are seeing folks running with 40 GB installed.
Officially, the notebook supports 2 x 16 GB of memory according to chapter 1 of the service manual.
I don't know why they left out the 2 x 16 GB configuration from the list, when they indicated 32 GB was supported.

Hi Paul- this link is not working: https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/c06657657
and, the model number you have suggested is different. Regarding, crucial website, although it shows the model can support even upto 64GB of RAM, the "where to buy" option is not working there. that's something I am worried about.

Hi:
The link works fine for me.
Here is a screen shot of the specs from the link...
I don't see where that 64 GB kit is available in India. I searched Amazon.in using the 64 GB kit part number and nothing showed up.
They do have the 32 GB kit part number though.

Thanks Paul for your reply. Actually, I have ordered my OMEN 15-en0004ax today. But, are you sure that it will possess the same feature of 15en-00023dx ? I mean will it also support 32 or 64 GB RAM?

Hi Paul... I am thinking of buying two 32 GB RAM and place in my laptop.
Here are two types of RAM I have found in Amazon. Can you please confirm me which one will be compatible with my laptop? This RAM shows it is "SO-DIMM 32GB DDR4 3200MHZ premier". And the other one is different. It shows "32GB 3200MHZ DDR4 CL20 260 Pin SODIMM Notebook Memory HX432S20IB/3". I don't know what this "32GB 3200MHZ DDR4 CL20 260 Pin SODIMM Notebook Memory HX432S20IB/32" means and whether it will be compatible or not.
Can you please tell me which one should I buy?
Thanks.....

Hi:
The first one has an issue because the description and the picture shows it is DDR4-3200 memory, but if you look at the bottom of the page, there is a different part number listed for 2666 MHz memory.
There is no latency speed listed (CL). According to the compatible Crucial memory , it should be CL22.
The second memory chip you posted has a CL of 20, so I don't think that will work.
