Hello again,
So I recently reinstalled Windows on my Spectre x360, to get a fresh start with less bloat and more speed. My PC came with some OEM software preinstalled like McAfee, HP Assistant, Jumpstart and so on. Programs that if I missed, I could manually reinstall them on my pc. So I installed a fresh version of Windows Home 1809.
Some drivers were missing so I installed the Support Assistant from HP to automatically find and install them for my PC. I was hoping the Thunderbolt software would get installed as well. It didn't. Isn't it just a driver for my Type-C port?
I have no external GPU to attach and verify that the port works regardless of the missing software. So I was wondering, how do I know if my port is working and, where do I download the Thunderbolt software for my PC again?
Here is my USB detected devices by Windows, I have a microSD card, a USB Type-A 3.1 and 2 Type-C's (both of them Thunderbolt):
Thanks in advance!
