Can someone help me to determine the release date of the HP Chromebook 11-ae051wm? I don't know how many years I'll be able to use it. I thought that I was purchasing a new one, but it turns out to be old. I just had to throw away my old Samsung Chromebook because it was no longer supported. I hope this one will at least last a couple of years.

Do you mean manufacturing date ? Because Release date and Manufacturing date are not the same. Please try
1. Using the following way to get the s/n of your machine
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2039298-1862169-16
2. Model number should be CCCYWWZZZZ (WW if for week number, Y is for year)
For example CCC438ZZZZ gives us week 38 and of year 4 (can be 2004 or 2014, you have to guess depending on current year).
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.
