Product: HP Envy Notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For HP Envy Notebook Model number 7265NGW, Battery part number 816238-850  I found "compatible" replacement batteries with same HP part number at two Chinese sites, being Smartproductshopping.com and the another site  called "Adapter" or One-cable.com  Does any of you have experience purchasing HP replacement parts through these sites? Are they reliable?  Why does HP make replacing a battery so difficult!?

Hi,

The batttery is not available in HP store. However depending in what country you are in, you can try an official reseller. For example here in Italy (and in Europe):

Now if chinese batteries are reliable I guess depends, since most of the original products are also made in China. If buying online, I would only purchase if there are many positive revues from others.
