I purchased an HP universal power adapter for my laptop, model #1MY05AA#ABA. This adapter has a removable plug on the adapter that broke. I was wondering if I can purchase just the plug and not the whole adapter again?
I cannot even find this part on the HP website. I purchased the adapter from Best Buy.

I will see if I can find the part.
A good place to locate it is at a second hand PC shop.

The model number of the power adapter is 1MY05AA#ABA.
Here is a link to the product https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-universal-power-adapter-black/5863400.p?skuId=5863400
This is for a US power plug.
Thanks for you reply.

I may have found something that works, but here are some pics of the actual piece I need.
The tiny marking on it reads
E342494
Max 2.5A 125v
LA-007-UL
LONGWELL
I find it strange that I cannot locate this part from HP and that they don't even list this adapter on their site.
Thanks for the replies.

I misunderstood which adapter you needed. You might contact that eBay vendor as he seems to have some parts replated to the adapter an d may have one of the pieces you need. Other than that I think this was an "HP" product sold at Best Buy and never offered by HP through its retail site.
