My laptop back cover is cracked  and I'm replacing it with a new cover . I've got a  new back cover  with the hole for the CD drive  as a smooth panel. I want to install it and leave out the CD player thats currently on the machine. What changes do I need to make to the system for it to work properly after disconnecting and removing the CD drive? Can someone advise me on the steps I need to take?
