My notebook have an Intel Optane memory M10 (16GB) preinstalled.
So i was trying to remove this and install an SSD on the same port. I brought a HP SSD EX900 M.2 250 GB and installed on same port.
Unfortunately my system doesn’t detected it.
i tried enabling legacy mode, then removed Optane memory and reinstalled os on HDD, but nothing worked.
is there any solution for this ?

I didn’t disabled the Optane memory.
But, i did the below steps and everything worked fine
- Removed Optane memory
- enabled legacy support
- When i rebooted, it asked me to reset RAID, and i did the same
- Reinstalled windos 10 on HDD
- Disabled legacy support
- Now, when i checked in dispart and disk management, ssd is detected. But before installing os in ssd, we need to convert from MBR to GPT

You have to use following steps
Did you disable Optane before removing it ? You also have to remove HDD to allow system to boot on new SSD then put old HDD back later.
Regards.
