HP Notebook 15 db0007cy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to install second 8GB RAM and removed the 3 screws....now what? It looks like the casing completely connects around the unit. Is there a special trick to removing the back cover?

Maintenance and Service Guide

Bottom cover - Illustrated / explained on page 40

Says you need to remove the "feet", then the screws, and "pry" off the bottom.

Thank you for the timely response.

All went well; additional RAM installed, battery inspected and photographed for replacement purposes, and lesson learned.

Thanks again!
