Hi:
I don't know how to use that app.
Give this Renesas driver a try...

OK, but this time, you got the device to show up rather than being labeled as an unknown device.
Uninstall the 2 Renesas USB 3 devices, check the unintall driver box, restart the PC, and see if Windows installs the drivers.
Unfortunately, I don't know why any of those Renesas/NEC drivers are not installing.
One of them should have worked.
Or you may want to try reinstalling W7 again and use the last Renesas driver I posted.

I'm taking the notebook to local pc technician in few hours, to see what can be done.
How could controller die?
I just used this notebook 5-6 times in 6 months.and everything worked normally until I format it and reinstall Win 7.
We will try Win 8 since it has I suppose it's own drivers for usb 3.0.

As I wrote yesterday, it is possible but I think it is a driver issue.
Did you reinstall W7 between yesterday and now and see if you could install the USB3 drivers again?
It will be interesting to see what the PC repair place finds.

OK,one of the transistors on the usb 3.0 card was damaged. So even we couldn't install sound card, when we ran drivers for sound card it displayed error message like sound card is not recognized by the software.
So he opened up the notebook and found that damaged transistor which he replaced. Now sound works OK,and even those usb 3.0 ports.
