I want to replace Broadcom 802.11g wi-fi adapter in my laptop with a latest adapter supporting faster/latest wi-fi protocol i.e. 802.11n etc.
I want to install a much faster adapter which supports higher wi-fi speeds.
Please suggest the compatible make and model names (guess the wi-fi & Bluetooth combo adapter is even better if compatible, otherwise the latest wi-fi only adapter is fine too). Thanks

I can't find its specs nor its manual that means it is at least 6 years old. Due to the whitelist the chance to upgrade wifi adapter is slim to none, don't even thing a latest adapter.
From the following review it could be more than 10 years old

I bought the following USB adapter for my 11 years old machine

Hi @Banhien,
I found this manual online - http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01550108.pdf
Yes, this laptop is more than 10 years old (~12 years old)
Please refer to Page #12 and 13, it mentions a list of wi-fi adapter products supported for this laptop model, is it correct? If it is then shouldn't any of the mentioned models be compatible for replacement? Please advise. Thanks

I did say it has a whitelist and that is the list.
Regards.
