You're very welcome.

For simplicity, it would be easier to remove the 2.5" drive, and just use a SSD large enough to support Windows, and your programs and files.

Plus it would use less battery power than retaining the 2.5" drive.

But you can save money by using the existing 2.5" drive for storage, and buy a smaller capacity M.2 SSD.

If it were me, I would go with removing the hard drive and and just using the M.2 SSD

But that would be a decision you would have to make.

Hi, and Happy New Year to you too, Tasos.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

Since your notebook according to the specs, has an AMD Ryzen™ 7 3700U processor, it has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.

😮...that was quick..!!!

...and from your experience, you think that an M.2 at 480Gb as primary disk (with OS from the scratch) and the 1Tb as a secontary disk (storage for e.g) would be a ''good'' compilation..??

Thank you very much for your fast answer..!

(and please excuse my English.)

Thanks again, in advance... 👌👍
