Product: HP EliteBook 840 G4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I've been having some issues with my computer and have decided to replace and upgrade my harddrive. My laptop is a HP EliteBook 840 G4. If I buy any 2.5" SSD from Amazon would that be a suitable replacement? What is the process of replacing the SSD?

The HP EliteBook 840 G4 is a series of many machines with many different options/configurations. What do you have now ? Normal 2.5" HDD or M.2 type SSD ?
- If ONY 2.5" HDD, in theory you can use any STANDARD 2.5" HDD's or SSD's.
- If M.2 type SSD, the 2.5" SSD won't fit.
Regards.
