OMEN by HP 15-ax250wm Laptop PC

The keyboard on my  Omen 15-AX250WM  keyboard is not great.   I need to put extra pressure on several keys to het them to register.  Always have had to, from day one.

I finally got tired of it, and I bought a replacement keyboard.   I took apart the laptop and got to the keyboard itself, but it appears that the existing keyboard is not mounted like a normal keyboard (with things called "screws"), but is instead kind of melted into a grid shaped metal plate.

It appears the keyboard is placed on this metal grid, heated so plastic on the keyboard melts to secure the keyboard onto this grid, and that's the end of it.  I can't see how it can be replaced.

Is there a way to replace the keyboard?   Thank
