My Hard drive failed with the following error: Q0E488-869AGF-MFPX7G-60VL03.

I assume I need to replace it. Will a SSD be compatible with my laptop: PAVILION 14-CE0068ST ?

Yes, you can use standard 2.5" SATA SSD to replace the faulty HDD on your machine. There are many of them around such as Crucial MX500, Samsung 860EVO or similar. For example
