HP ENVY Notebook - 13-d008na (ENERGY STAR)

Currently I have a 2TB M2 which I want to change for a 4TB w-{and I cannot find any for sale ]. However the Envy is specified with an M2 ssd and the only 4TB drives I can find are pcie NVMe drives. Disregarding the price-my question is --With the assumption that the NVMe drive will fit - will it operate correctly - will the MB accept  NVMe drive ??? I dont expect the NVMe drive to operate at its specified speed-but would it not run at the speed of the M2 ssd it replaced  ??

Any responses appreciated.

I know Samsung has 4TB but no REAL review for it. Hang on, your machine ONLY supports M.2 SATA SSD, NVMe SSD's won't work.

Regards.
