Hi, I decided to replace my ODD to SSD, and I want to clarify the ODD port works as SATA3 or SATA2?
Just know that some cheap monoblocks ODD works as SATA2, and could not find information on the motherboard of my device.

You have SATA3, please check if you can enable the AHCI mode in the BIOS. AHCI mode does not support SATA2.
You also have a new BIOS F.55 Rev.A available from May this year.

And here you have a fairly important storage driver:

Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver (Windows 10 v1709 / v1803 / v1809)
I hope this is your solution 🙂

It uses a laptop type DVD drive and is a budget type platform that has the chipset and CPU on a single die, soldered on. There is one typical SATA port for the hard drive and then the DVD must plug into a daughterboard connected to the motherboard with a zif cable. I would say odds are high that the DVD drive port you would use with a ODD caddy with an SSD will be SATA-2. You should replace the hard drive with the SSD if you want to be sure to achieve the maximum transfer speed the computer can provide.
The specs and support page don't really tell the full story, unfortunately.

The motherboard cannot run in anything other than AHCI mode. I am glad you think you have the answer but I don't believe the question of whether the DVD drive runs in SATA-2 or SATA-3 has been answered. Yes, the main SATA port is SATA-3 but the DVD might still be SATA-2. But if you are happy we are happy. Good luck.
