Subject: WiFi card replacement in HP 15s-eq2103ur AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700U - which one will work?
Hello!
Laptop: HP 15s-eq2103ur
Current card: Realtek RTL8822CE (M.2 2230, Key E)
Replacement attempt:
- Bought Intel AX210NGW (M.2 2230)
- Physically installed it
- Bluetooth from the new card works
- BUT: WiFi card is not visible in lspci (Linux) or Windows Device Manager
- Looks like BIOS whitelist issue
Questions:
1. Will Intel AX200NGW work with my HP model?
2. Does HP 15s-eq2xxx series have BIOS whitelist?
3. Can AX200 bypass whitelist better than AX210?
4. Does anyone have experience replacing WiFi card in this model?
Thanks!

Hi:
The only better Wi-Fi card that I know of that might work in your PC is this one:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5 (non-vPro) HP part #/Intel SPS # L35282-005
This model card was used in the 15s-eq1000 model series according to this discussion:
can i change my wifi adapter in my hp 15s-eq1000? - HP Support Community - 9059590
Maybe the 15s-eq2xxx model series will support the same part number.
