I'd like to upgrade the OEM SSD drive with a larger drive and hopefully eliminate some of the "low memory" issues I keep running up against.  Any recommendations?

If your notebook has a 256 GB NVMe SSD I recommend this 1 TB model:

Amazon.com: SAMSUNG 980 SSD 1TB PCle 3.0x4, NVMe M.2 2280, Internal Solid State Drive, Storage for P...

If you plan on moving the drive to a newer PC in the future, you may want to install the Gen 4 SSD but it will not run at it's maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 slot.

Amazon.com: SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 Internal Solid State Hard Drive, Seq. Read Spe...

The 990 Pro also comes in larger storage capacities.

The 980 is up to 1 TB only.

Below is the link to the service manual:

If you want to clone your current drive's contents to the new one, you can use the free Samsung Magician software to clone the existing drive to the new Samsung drive.

Samsung Magician Software Download | Samsung Semiconductor Global

Make sure you set up the program to clone from a smaller drive to a larger one, or you will end up with XXX GB of unallocated space.

This is the type of enclosure you can use to put the new drive into:

Amazon.com: SSK Aluminum M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to NVME PCI-E ...

After the cloning process has successfully completed, you can remove the 256 GB SSD and install the new SSD.
