I am thinking HP community to upgrade the memory to 32GB of RAM. I have received advice about upgrade for 256 GB SSD to 500 GB. The advice was to buy Samsung SDD980. I was going to clone the 256GB. I bought an enclosure for the new one. Input and plug in to USB. The laptop cannot see it.
Please advise.

Having 256GB SSD is a bonus. You can upgrade to 500GB or more M.2 NVMe SSD using standard SSD drives on today market. For example
