Laptop 15-da0065nl

Good evening, I need to replace the hard disk on my laptop with a bigger and more performing one. Is it possible to install a m.2 sata 3 type ssd hard drive? My laptop is a hp 15-da0065nl. Thank you

You can replace the hard disk with a PCIe, NVMe, M.2 or a M.2, SATA-3 SSD.

My preference would be the PCIe, NVMe, M.2 since it has far lower access times than the SATA-3 type.

You have a couple of options depending on what your system currently has.  Please read the upgrade options below

I do not know the seller nor but am just recommending what they write.

Your manual is here  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06691790.pdf

It states you can use 7.5mm or 9.5mm drives HDD or SDD and can also use an m.2 type SSD.

If your m.2 slot has optane memory I recommend you keep it and replace the existing 2.5 inch drive with larger one.

If your m.2 is your disk drive then a western digital blue m.2 of 1tb is a good replacement and WD has cloning software

@erico you beat me to it.
