Product: HP Pavilion dv6-6033cl Entertainment Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
I was getting the internal battery error on startup so I ordered a new 601 battery from HP. My laptop is 7 years old. Information on HP support show directions to test the old battery but nothing about directions for installing the new battery. Does anyone have a link to share or point me to precautions I need to take? Thank you.

Hello @Eesti,
This should help:
Turn off the computer and remove the AC adapter before replacing the battery.
Hope this helps,
Eddy
