Hi everyone,
I would like to replace the built-in 1TB SSD in my Spectre x360 with a 2TB one (namely, Samsung MZ V6E2 S24 A450BW SSD 960 Evo Nvme)
Two questions:
1. Is this possible at all? I mean, is the 2TB compatible with the M.2 slot inside my laptop?
2. Is this something I can do myself without losing warranty? (I know how to do it, it's only that I don't want to open the laptop up myself if this automatically voids my warranty).
Thanks!

Here is the Manual:
Yes it absolutely will support the 2 TB NVME M.2. (You must have robbed a bank to buy one).
The warranty will be fine as long as you cause no damage in the process. Good luck and post back results please.

Hi,
May I answer Q2 first: Please check the following manual:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05357578.pdf
This work is for Authorized Service Provider parts that implies it would void warranty when doing yourself. I always say: warranty is a grey area, when no problem then no problem but when thing goes wrong then vendors (including HP) may not honor warranty.
For Q1: HP uses parts from few different vendors, as you can see on page 29, HP uses different part numbers for different machines. My suggestion: use Device manager to check what is the current 1TB SSD and buy new 2TB SSD from same vendor.
Regards.
