Replacement Battery Part Number

The battery in my HP Envy 17 is swollen. I think that means that I need to replace it. I cannot find anything that tells me the part number for the replacement battery. I looked at Settings/System/About and it shows that my laptop is an HP Envy  Laptop 17-ce1xxx (it does not include the "t" in the model number as shown in the "product name" above. I cannot find that model anywhere as I try to research the battery part number. Can you tell me what battery that I need to purchase?

Enter your notebook's product number in the search window at the link below and it should provide the battery part number and description for the battery your notebook uses.

To find the product number for your PC, click on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.

Type: System Information

The System information app should show up.

Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.
