Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My battery isn't working properly and needs a replacement. I am trying to find my laptop's battery details so that I can buy it online.But I am unable to find my battery details to proceed?Does anyone know how to find the last four digit code of your laptop battery without opening the laptop?

First make sure your BIOS is up to date???

 

HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors) Version: F.48 Rev.A

This will insure these fixes have been installed.

 

Version: F.46 Rev.A

Fixed in this release: - Provides improved security.

 

Version: F.45 Rev.A

Fixed in this release: - Fixes an intermittent issue where the system battery does not recharge completely. - Provides the updated Intel CPU microcode to improve system stability and security.

 

Version: F.42 Rev.A

Fixed in this release: - Fixes an issue where the battery information is reported incorrectly. - Provides improved battery health when the system is connected to an AC adapter.

 

If you need to replace your battery Remove/Replace starts on page 31.
