Product: Pavilion 15-cs1063cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Need to know what replacement battery to get for my HP Pavilion 15-cs1063cl.  How do I know if I need the 3 cell or 4 cell without opening my laptop?  I know I will have to open it to put in the replacement, but want to avoid unnecessary contact until I have to.

Here is your Service Manual  It calls for a 4cell 68wh battery part number L32654-005. You'll also find instructions on how to open the laptop.

You can run the battery test in bios, it should tell you which one is installed. If the service manual has 2 listings for a battery, either will fit.

battery test was done, it suggested that battery is weak, need to replace
