Product: HP ENVY Notebook - 13-d053sa (ENERGY STAR)

Anyone know where I can get a replacement battery for an HP 13-d053sa?  The laptop works fine, but the battery doesn't.  It would seem extremely unenvironmental to have to throw out a perfectly good working laptop just due to the battery, so I assume HP has them available somewhere...

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

HP ENVY Notebook PC (model numbers 13-d000 through 13-d099 and 13-d100 through 13-d199) Maintenance ...

 

Chapter 3, page 17 has the battery part number you need.

 

3-cell, 45-Wh, 3.83-Ah, Li-ion battery (includes cable)   HP part number 816238-850

 

Unfortunately, it is very common for HP not to sell the original battery as is in the case of your notebook.

 

HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts

 

So, your only option would be to do a search on Amazon or eBay, search by the HP battery part number and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references that part number.
