I need to replace the charger for my HP gaming laptop (15-ec0751ms), but can't seem to find any compatible ones in the HP store.
I did find a listing for "HP 200W Slim Smart AC Adapter" which looks identical to the one I have, but it doesn't list any of the electrical specs so I don't want to buy it in case it damages my device/charger.
Is it still possible to buy a charger for the 15-ec0751ms? And if not, are the specs for HP chargers listed anywhere so I can ensure my device is compatible? I just need to ensure the polarity is the same, and that it uses 19.5V, but that information isn't given on the product page.

Well unfortunately, the polarity and plug sizes are often NOT provided on the sales sites for chargers, either.
What has worked best for me is to obtain the specific HP part number for the charger and buy one with the same number. That way, you will know that it is an exact replacement and don't have to worry about the specs or plug.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Are you sure we are talking about the same laptop? I would not call the one you ask about "old" but if correct, this is the Part No.: 135 W L15534-001
