HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0068nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently replaced my swollen laptop battery with a  version identical to the original that I ordered directly through HP. When I reboot the device, it shows a black screen that says the following:

HP Battery Alert

The system has detected the storage capacity of the battery stated below to be very low.  For optimal performance, this battery may need to be replaced.

Primary (Internal) Battery  (601)

ENTER - Continue Startup

Followed by:

Non-HP battery detected. This might pose health and safety risks.

HP recommends using HP batteries only. Using a non-compatible or non-HP battery might pose health and safety risks. The installed battery does not appear to be an HP battery and fast charging may not be available.

ENTER - Continue Startup

Once Windows loads, it initially shows a "no battery detected" icon. However, when I unplug the AC adapter, the laptop continues to run and the icon shows "unknown remaining". When I plug the AC adapter back in, the battery icon shows a plug. When I hover over the icon, it says 255% remaining, but if I click on the icon, it says "100% fully charged". I ran a battery check through the HP PC Hardware diagnostics tool and it failed with error code 1.

I have already tried updating my drivers and BIOS, but neither has helped. Could someone please assist?
