According to the spec for your laptop you have a one terabyte hard drive it can be replaced with any 2.5 inch solid state or mechanical drive that is SATA 3 compatible
Western digital drives are price reasonably and come with free cloning software

You will need a cable like this to clone. Connect the new SSD (or HDD) to the cable and run the cloning software. Then replace the old drive with the new one
Alternately you could put the new drive in your laptop and do a cloud restore
Cloud recovery provides all the custom HP drivers.
Go to the below site and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character
You can restore your system using a 32gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.
