Hi. I placed an order based upon the details provided on this forum and I was sent a DV9000. I have spoken with the seller who assures me that mine is a HS04 battery. We must have misunderstood each other?

What is the part number written in your new battery??

I have just posted the battery back to the seller. This was far too big and a DV9000?

If you want a battery for your dv9500 please refer to the answer from @erico.

If it is the model number you have tell to me, it is an HP 15-ba055sa. 

 

When I have said: 

For your battery you have 2 possibilities: a 3 cells 31 Wh, reference 807956-001, and a 4 cells 41 Wh with more autonomy, reference 807957-001.
