Hello
My OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-ck0013na (2Y4A9AV) has stopped working (blank screen, led light on and fans switch on but that's it). The repair shop has said they have tested battery, ram etc and nothing solves the issue and think it is the motherboard, which needs replacing. However, they cannot source one. Anyone know where I might get one (live in UK).
Thanks.

Your motherboard:
Intel Core i7-11800H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics M57133-601
And here is the Service Manual:
Actually any of the motherboards listed on p. 16 would fit and work, but yours is likely to be one of the less expensive ones (still not very cheap).
HP UK Parts Store does not have it:
i5 version of the motherboard on eBay at a too high price:
I would search eBay and amazon using the various parts numbers and see what you can find. It also may be possible to send the motherboard to a high-tech shop for repair at the chip level. This is much less expensive than a new board and I have had good luck with it. Lots of those kind of shops sell their services through eBay. They generally do not charge if they are unable to repair (other than shipping). Post back if you need more help.

If I may make a suggestion.
There is a YouTuber who has a shop in Shaftesbury, England with the channel name of Adamant IT.

He is quite proficient at troubleshooting and repairing laptops down to the component level.
I suggest he would be someone who you might get in contact with.

No: 1. too late. You can only buy the Carepack within I believe 90 days of the end of factory warranty; and, 2. You can't have insurance against a loss that has already happened; i.e can't insure the house that has already burned down.
