I recently dropped my laptop, and a screw from the backplate fell out. I had already dropped my laptop on the backplate twice before, and was wondering where I could find replacment screws and possibly a replacement backplate. Help is appreciated.

Hello @FiahCraker
Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.
(1) DIY (Do it yourself)
Page 18 Chapter 3 Illustrated parts catalog
From Page 31 Component replacement procedures
...
(2) Where to buy bottom cover ?
No Parts at HP Partsurfer (out of stock)
-> Search on aftermarket ( ebay, aliexpress, amazon, ... ) and catch genuine or compatible part.
Please pay attention to HP spare part number and specification !
(3) What about the screws?
Ask a computer repair service around the corner. They have tons of screws lying around. There should be screws that fit and you can get them for free (if they are cool people).
Kind regards

Thanks! I've already found a replacement backplate on eBay! Just to be sure, is there anything wrong with the one I found? I also found a screw kit and replacement rubber feet. Just to be sure, is there anything wrong with the ones I found?
