Cheers everybody. I am looking to replace some keycaps in my Omen Laptop 16-xf0095ng. I have already accepted that buying the whole keyboard kit is better than trying to find replacement individual keycaps. I want to change only a few. Mine is German, because I bought it from Amazon.de. Problem is, it's a dead-end!! Neither Amazon, nor even HP seem to have it. Can anybody help? Thank you.

Hi @BetoLenda

HP does not sell keys separately, only the complete keyboard.

Thank you. Any clues of where I can get the keyboard from? I've browsed but haven't found it. Succeeded in getting the part number though. I think it is HP N56102-DB1

It's actually a little worse. HP only "spares" the entire top cover with embedded keyboard. The specs on your model do not tell us which keyboard of the ones listed on pp. 71-72 of the Manual you have:

Manual

You will find the number and then add -041 for German language. I could not locate any compatible part on German eBay

Thank you, Resistencia. In fact, this is the German keyboard because I bought it from Amazon.de, but I want the US version, because some symbols are out of place for me. If that is possible, I thank you.

Thank you, Huffer. I looked up on the manual, and I think the part I need is N56102-001 for US keyboard, i.e "Aluminum, 4-zone lighting". There is also the part N56101-xx1, which is for the numeric keypad. I only need some keycaps, so, in my humble logic, the latter is for me. There is also the part "Plastic, 4-zone lighting, models with RTX 4xxx (80 W) graphics", which is my case (RTX-4070). I can't tell the difference when it lists "Aluminum" or "Plastic", for I don't really know where it applies to! What do you make of it? I bought mine from Amazon.de, and that is why it came with the German layout. Again, I only need some keycaps. Easier than replacing the whole thing. Anyway, this should be something easy to solve, but it ends up being a search for the Holy Grail!!!

My keyboard is black. The service manual doesn't mention the color. I take it for granted because of the model.

The problem with replacing keys is that in these keyboards it is a very delicate task, many times the keys do not re-enter.

Yes. Indeed. And I've learned it the hardest way. Broke the plastic clampers in two keycaps. I was impatient and did not wait. One of them is completely loose. C'est la vie.
