Your machine uses 6cell battery part # 671731-001 (SPS-BATT 6C 62WHr 2.8AH LI MO06062-CL). Please use Amazon or eBay

You can use either of these:

(17)
Battery:
9-cell, 100-Wh, 3.0-Ah, Li-ion battery
672412-001
6-cell, 62-Wh, 2.8-Ah, Li-ion battery
671731-001

You have the 6 cell. The 9 cell bulges down from the bottom of the laptop and actually raises the rear of the laptop a bit when laid flat on a desk. Also provides additional power storage and runtime.

This is a 3rd party compatible 6-cell from Amazon Prime:

Genuine 9 cell:

Just seach on eBay and/or Amazon.com by part number and add the word genuine to the search if you want to avoid a 3rd party battery. For older laptops the 3rd party batteries are actually a viable option.
