Hi,

I have noticed that my battery gets discharged very quickly. The diagnosis shows that it is almost dead (30% of the nominal charge maximum). This is rather awkward, since the new laptop has been purchased only about 1.5 years ago. However, the battery "lifetime" in diagnostics is now shown to be almost 1000 days (almost 3 years). Looks like the battery was lying on the shelf for more than one year prior to be installed on my laptop - shame that I have not noticed this right after purchase and a very clever, albeit hardly ethical, production trick of HP.

Anyway, the manual says the battery model is "859356-855" - any idea where can I buy it from? This looks like HP spare parts shop have never heard of it .https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/Default.aspx?mscssid=F3F559C69D5F44B1841B98BFE27C0109&NoMatch=true

Thank you, Banhien. The search converges, but the part is marked as "N/A".  And no functional equivalents seem to be available.
