Hey everyone! I’m pretty sure my laptop needs a new battery, and my manufactures warranty is expired. I’m having a hard time finding which battery I need to purchase. Here’s some info on my laptop

Model: 15-ba009dx

Hello @Brookew4813,

 

The HP Notebook - 15-ba009dx uses a 3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery with HP Spare Part number 807956-001.

 

You can then use the HP Spare part number(s) in the HP Parts store here. You may also be able to find it elsewhere on the Internet.

 

Example: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Superb-Choice-4-cell-HP-807956-001-Laptop-Battery/150849269

 

The replacement procedure should be extremely simple - just push the two battery latches inwards and pop the battery out. Then insert the brand new one.

 

If you wish to, you can purchase a higher capacity battery:

 

4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 807957-001
