Product: HP CQ58-241SA notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Does anyone know where I can find the equivalent battery number for my laptop please? The product no. is C2B16EA#ABU. The number on the battery is CT6BZLU08SA3EEDN. I have tried the HP store and battery suppliers so far without success. It is currently running on mains power.

The part you are looking for is obsolete, the information to specific part numbers is no longer available, It would be easier and cost effective to get a new computer than to spend more on getting this old device repaired, if you wish to continue pursuing the same, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options:

follow the below steps to get started:

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

 

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
