Replacement battery

I have an HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cc5xx. When I tried to order a replacement battery from HP, they say my laptop model does not exist. (The product name, product number, and serial number were all supplied to me by the HP Support Assistant app that was preinstalled on my computer when I bought it new.)

I took it to a local computer store; they ordered the battery according to the model number on the original battery: TF03XL. The new battery didn't really fit, but they jammed it in anyway. After they installed it, it was pressing on the underside of the mousepad, causing the mousepad to be inoperable. When they removed the replacement battery and compared it to the original battery (which had the same model number), they found that the original had a small notch in the corner (or was otherwise shaped differently).

Can someone direct me to a replacement battery that will fit my mysteriously "nonexistent" HP laptop?

Pavilion Laptop 15-cc5xx is a series of many models/products. You can't use that to search for or order anything. Please use the following way to know what is your machine
