HP Spectre X360 15-ch010ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi folks,

I just bought this new HP Spectre X360 15-ch010ca and I've noticed two of the keyboard keys are cracked.  They work (which is why I've only just noticed it) but given I paid a good amount for this laptop, I'd like it to be in good condition.  I contacted the store I bought it from but they said I need to bring it in and they'd ship it off to HP for the repair which could take weeks or months to complete.  I'm a student and school starts again next week, so I can't be without my laptop as it's critical to my school program.  I was hoping to purchase the replacement keys and either do the repair myself or take it somewhere local (Alberta, Canada) and get it back ASAP.  I've looked everywhere online, but it doesn't look like replacement keys are available for this Spectre model yet.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

If its still under warranty send it back to them. If not they will simply tell you they can't do anything.

Thanks CSstudent, but I was hoping for a solution that doesn’t require me sending my laptop away. It’s still under warranty (only one month old) but I’m a student and school starts again next week and I need it for my program. 🙁 I was hoping for a lead on how I might be able to get or find the replacement part.

If they have it it'll be here. This is where you can buy completely authentic HP replacement parts, but be forewarned their completely overpriced. Hope you have better luck than me. It's been crazy trying to get help on this site. My HP consultant is just refusing to answer me.
