HP SPECTRE X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP spectre went dead and when I took it to the local official HP service centre I was told that the motherboard is dead.

I was also told the the replacement motherboard is out of production line. I bought my laptop less than 4 years ago.

My model is HP SPECTRE x360 13-4129na and the product number if X5X71EA.

I would like to check if there is any way that HP can supply a new motherboard as this excuse is not the first time that I got for a previous HP laptop.

Sorry, but HP might replace a motherboard in a laptop only a few months old under the warranty, but it does not do this for laptops as old as yours and it does not sell or supply new motherboards to the public.

I went to an HP centre and was told that the motherboard is out of production. One does not accept that after 3 and a half years!

Hp should inform clients that 'If your motherboard goes bust after our warranty you need to buy a new laptop'. Pity I paid 1400 euros for it! I will never buy an HP product in my life again.
