After the replacement of the battery, my notebook doesn't show the percentage of the charging. However, it works without the connection with ac adapter. Moreover, I can not turn it on using only battery. So, I have to connect the ac adapter. What is the issue?
Old battery is the same and it works fine...

Yes, contact the retailer and return the battery and contact support and they will assist you in ordering the battery for your computer.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

- Did you purchase the battery from HP?
- What is the battery part number?
Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.

Yes, it looks like the battery is not compatible with the computer. I recommend you check the part number on the original battery and the battery you have purchased to make sure it is the same.
