Product: 15-bs015dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I use my laptop in the field alot. Battery life is horrible on this model (15-bs015dx) so I'm looking for an upgrade. Are there any options for a better battery? Even a replacement/spare? Cant seem to find one that lists my laptop model.

These are the two batteries which would be compatible:

 

(24) Battery 4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919701-850 3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919700-850

 

According to specs your laptop came with the 3-cell. If you replace it with a 4-cell logically you would go from 31 wh to 41 wh with a corresponding increase in runtime (about 32%). 

 

But I could not find it anywhere but ebay and then only a used one:

Yes anything in the 15-bs000 model series uses the same battery.

I have HP Laptop 15-bw0xx. I understand that the standard battery is 919700-850. Can I upgrade to 919701-850?
