Hello,

 

The trackpad was damaged when a spanner fell on it. I need help in identifying and sourcing the replacement part.

Hi,

 

If you look on page 14 of the service manual you can see the part you are looking for (2) which has part number 

855632-001  On page 32 of service manual you can see various steps to replace the touchpad. Now using the part number you can either perform a search online or buy from HP parts store:
